CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF THE BELOW!!!!!!
Catriona Clark (J & D Teacher) - Out of 1000 people she has successfully secured a place at the RSAMD starting in 2010 – Great News!
Catriona also successfully auditioned to be Assistant Choreographer at the Johnstone Phoenix Pantomime “King Arthur” in December 2008. She has gone on from there to obtain the Post as Choreographer for the show “Oliver” in their forth-coming production in April 2009.
Julie Ann Payne (J & D Teacher) has continued as the Resident Choreographer for the Junior Phoenix she is currently Choreographing Back To The Eighties”
Jayne Austin (Drama Teacher/Student Dance Teacher) played the part as Poppy in “Oh What a Lovely War” at the Tron Theatre in August 2008 – The tutu that Jayne is wearing in our opening; Mama Mia came from the show.
Claire Walsh played the lead part as “Little Red Riding Hood” in the Junior Phoenix Pantomime and will be playing “Tiffany” in “Back to the Eighties” in May 2009
Colette Crampsey & Lynsey Webster were in “Beauty and the Beast” Pantomime at the Paisley Art Theatre with PACE
Hailey MacDonald and Laura Allan has successfully auditioned for the Junior Phoenix show “Back to The Eighties” which is being held in May 2009
J& D has now expanded to include a school in Beith Ayrshire on a Thursday evening!
In August J&D was asked to participate at the Bowfield Hotel and Country Club Open Day to help entertain the crowds - well-done girls

Choreography Winners 2008 - Congratulations to our winners. They were Rachael Taylor, Juvenille - Rachel McCormick & Kaitlyn Allan, Juniors and Laura Allan, Senior Winner - Well Done
Elderslie Display 2008 - Display was held on 7th & 8th March - it was a great success and all our pupils performed well - Well Done
December 2007 - Classes finish on Wednesday, 19th December and recommence on Tuesday, 8th January 2008
August 2007 - Auditions are being held again this year for J & D Dancers to perform with the cast of Scottie & Lulu. Their show is being held on Tuesday, 16th October at Paisley Town Hall. All pupils of J & D who are over the age of 5 can apply to audition when we start back in August.
August 2007 - Classes start back on Tuesdsay 21st & Wednesday, 22nd August
June 2007 - Well Done to all our pupils we have achieved 100% pass marks again!!!
Exams - This years exams are being held on the 8th & 9th June 2007 at Johnstone Town Hall. - Good Luck everyone
Congratlations to Claire Rankin who successfully auditioned for a place at Reid Kerr's Dance course. The course will last 3 years.
Display 2007 - Well Done to all our pupils who participated in the Display - everyone had a great time and we would like to thank you and all your parents for your continued support.
Choreography Winners - February 2007 - Congratulations to our choreography winner they were - Lucy Campbell, Lauren Mullaney, & Jana Rae - Senior Group Winners, Laura Allan - Junior Groups Winner and Rachel McLure - Juveinile Winner
November 2006 - Our Christmas Show will be held on 30th November 2006 at St Cuthbert's High School. Starlite 1 & 2 show will be on 6.00pm to 7.00pm Primary 2 above (first steps and above) will be at 7.15pm.

October 2006 - 36 of our dancers participate in the professional show Scottie & Lulu which was held at Paisley Town Hall - Well Done everyone who audutioned successfully for the show it was great

June 2006 - Congratulations to everyone one participated in the exams - we again had 100% pass marks
June 2006 - Well done to Emma Barlow who also successfully auditioned to attend a part-time dance course at Reid Kerr - Emma beat off 90 candidates to win her place on the course - well done
June 2006 - Congratulations to Catriona Clark who successfully auditioned for the Royal Society of Music Acadamey - Junior Section - This is a very prestigous college to attend and Catriona starts her part-time course in September.
June 2006 - Congratulations to Claire Walsh, Catriona Clark and Gillian Boyle who all participate in Johnstone Youth Theatre Production of Annie held in Johntone Town Hall - it was a great success and everyone who went to see the show throughly enjoyed it - also well done to Julie Ann Payne one of J & D's teachers who choreographed the show - it was excellent.
May 2006 - We would like to inform all our pupils and parents for peace of mind that all our qualified teachers have now been vetted through the disclosure scotland act.
April 2006 - Feedback from our display has been excellent and everyone seems to have enjoyed it. Well done our the children who participated in the display.

December 2005- Xmas Show to be held on Thursday 1st December at St Cuthberts High School in Johnstone. The evening will start at 6.15pm.
October 2005 - 10 dancers from J & D successfully auditioned to dance in the professional production of memory lane in greenock also on 19th November. Well done everyone....
October 2005 - 30 dancers from J & D successfully audition for Scottie & Lulu - J & D have won the contract to choreograph and provide 30 dancers for the Scottie & Lulu show to be held at Paisley Town Hall on 19th November. Well done everyone....
June 2005 - Congratulations to Lisa Moorhead, a former pupil of J & D School of Dance and Drama who passed her B A Honors in dance at London Studios - Lisa will now begin to look forward to commencing her professional dance career and we wish her well for the future.
