J & D School of Dance & Drama – August Letter 2009 Dear Parent - Hope you all had a good holiday. Jacqui, Donna and all the staff at J & D would like to thank you all for your kind gifts at the end of the year. ELDERLSIE –classes commencing on Tuesday, 18th & Wednesday 19th August 2009. HOWWOOD - classes commencing Tuesday, 18th August 2009 BEITH – classes commencing on Thursday, 20th August 2009 CHANGES – IMPORTANT INFORMATION - ALL SCHOOLS Pupils who are starting in primary 1 school will move up to Starlite Level 2 (EXCEPT BEITH SCHOOL). Last year’s Starlite Level 2 will now move onto the ‘First Steps’ section (primary 2 pupils). At this level, you will now need to decide what subjects you wish your child to do. There are various times in each school for 'First Steps Classes' so you will need to look at the timetable on the Website to decide what classes you want to attend – www.jddance.co.uk Changes to Howwood There will be a new Drama class at Howwood from 7.00pm to 7.30pm. Modern is no longer available Changes to Beith Starlite 1 (pre-school) is still the same at 4pm. There is no Starlite 2 Class this year. All pupils who are starting Primary 1 this year will move straight on to ‘First Steps’ so at this point you can choose your subjects. Please see the website for full details. We are hoping to run Drama Class 6pm to 6.30pm and a Highland Class from 7.30pm to 8pm - this will depend on demand for these subjects. See website for details. www.jddance.co.uk Changes to Elderslie 1. Pointe class is now running at 6.45pm to 7.15pm on a Tuesday. All Grade Subjects on a Tuesday have been changed, please see timetable for this. 2. Last year’s 'First Steps Class' in Elderslie timetable will change and can now choose Drama and Modern. 3. If there is enough demand we will run a two 'First Steps Classes' these are as follows. At the moment there has been no demand for 4pm starting Starting – 4.00pm 4.00pm – Tap 4.30pm - Ballet 5.00pm - Cheerleading 5.30pm - Disco - Break - 6.30pm – Highland Finishing at 7.00pm OR Starting – 5.30pm 5.30pm – Cheerleading 6.00pm – Disco 6.30pm – Highland 7.00pm – Ballet 7.30pm – Tap Finishing at 8.00pm TIMETABLE We advise everyone to look at the timetable on the Website to confirm what changes have been made.
